About the Alliance

Wavenis-OSA is an independent standards body whose participants work together to define the Wavenis technology roadmap and deliver new Wavenis features and capabilities, as determined by member interests and market requirements. This industry alliance is an all-volunteer, member-driven organization with participants from around the world.
Wavenis-OSA works to foster both innovation and cooperation among members. The growing Wavenis developer community will fuel this process. Wavenis adopters are invited to define their own Wavenis profiles to meet specific application requirements based on Wavenis features: frequency bands, data rate, output power, channel bandwidth, network topology, self-routing and self-healing options, etc.
Another goal is for Wavenis-OSA to look outward as well as inward, collaborating with major industry standards organizations and proprietary wireless communication initiatives. This includes establishing connections with groups such as the Bluetooth SIG, ZigBee and Konnex, proprietary solutions such as Z-Wave and io-homecontrol, independent organizations, and international standardization bodies such as IEEE, ETSI, EPC Global, ISAD, LPRA, HART, ISA-SP100 and others.
It is Wavenis OSA will carry out marketing and communications programs to promote Wavenis positioning, adoption, and deployment internationally throughout the industry, and will work to maintain Wavenis as a strong, visible brand.
