Wavegate 310E/310G

Wavegate™ 310E and 310G data collectors are designed to collect data from Wavenis-enabled end-points using the Wavenis v1 polling technique either directly or via Wavetalk repeaters. Polling schedules are fully programmable. Data collected by Wavegate is stored in XML or CSV file format, then transferred via FTP to a server.
Offering full 2-way connectivity, Wavegate data collectors also enable users to transmit queries from data center applications to end-points.

  • Performs polling for data collection in Wavenis v1 (unsynchronized) networks
  • Transfers data via FTP to data center over Ethernet (310E) or GPRS (310G)
  • Forwards commands, configuration and queries from data center tools and applications to target end-points
  • Uses 25 mW or 500 mw Wavenis interface (depending on range and power requirements)
  • Offers wireless range up to 4 km to end-points and range extenders
  • Supports up to 500 Wavenis end-points in network branches with up to 3 range extenders

General
  • Integrated Wavenis Wavecard interface (25 mW standard, 500 mW optional)
  • Operates in license-free 433, 868 and 915 MHz ISM bands
  • Includes AC adapter
  • Configurable polling cycle
  • File exchange via FTP with remote server
  • Data log files (configurable transfer cycle)
  • End-point and gateway configuration files
  • Alarms from end-points and range extenders Commands to be sent to Wavenis modules (i.e. from Wavenet Manager or other data center tools)
  • Excel® tool to generate configuration files and remote/polling commands
  • Data log files in CSV or XML format (compressed in .gz format before transmission)
  • Remote (over-the-air) upgrade of microcontroller firmware
  • 2 polling modes:
    • On-demand: Reads most recent value only (uses Wavegate time and date as time stamp)
    • Data logging: Reads all values stored on Wavenis end-point: i.e. 24 values for Waveflow with 1 input (uses end-point time and date as time stamp)
  • Alarm management
  • Alarm file created when alert is received from end-point module
  • Transmitted by FTP to data center
