Wavegate 320

Wavegate™ 320 is small footprint Wavenis/GPRS gateway (1) that enables 2-way M2M data transmission and device alarms in large-scale automated wireless sensor networks. Offering tight integration with Wavenet Manager network and data management tools, it is particularly well adapted for advanced metering infrastructure solutions. As the root device in a synchronous Wavenis network (2), the Wavegate 320 gateway serves as a data collection and relay point between Wavenis end-points deployed in the field and a customer's back-office invoicing and network administration operations. With Wavegate 320's GPRS connectivity, meter data is transmitted automatically and efficiently over any distance. This product may also be used to handle polling-based applications in asynchronous Wavenis networks.

(1) In terms of network operation and remote device access, Wavegate 320 is functionally equivalent to the Wavegate 220 product, but with a smaller enclosure and backup battery.
(2) Wavegate 220 and 320 can both be configured to run polling applications in asynchronous networks. However, a given gateway may not run in both asynchronous and synchronous networks simultaneously.
