Wavetalk
Wavetalk is a simple Wavenis wireless range extender that plays a key role in building the backbone of any Wavenis wireless network. Wavetalk relays data transparently between Wavenis wireless devices, such as to provide 2-way access between end-points and a network gateway when the distance exceeds normal operating range. While Wavenis technology offers wireless range that is among the highest in the industry, there are still situations where additional range is required. Wavetalk can be placed between any two Wavenis-enabled devices in order to extend their communication range significantly.
In asynchronous mode, Wavetalk wireless repeater modules are designed for use in networks that generally have up to around 200 points in a given network sector, with occasional data transmission.
In synchronous mode, Wavetalk repeaters are well suited for use in large-scale fixed networks, with benefits such as automated installation using self-routing services.
Note: Wavenis wireless technology allows any device in a network to be a data repeater for other devices, thus enabling flexible mesh network topologies in unpredictable environments. For use as dedicated repeaters, Wavetalk modules are available with a larger battery in order to ensure longer service under load.
